Elementary School
The BIS Elementary School is the nuclear family within the extended family. Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 are the foundation years of education, where various skills, preferences and abilities are developed. Our curriculum is entirely based on the Cambridge International Primary Programme. This provides a consistent platform on which students move from the Checkpoint syllabus in the Middle School and on to the IGCSE and A and AS Level examinations done in the High School.
Students study Math, English, EVS (a combination of science, history and geography), and Second Language (they choose between French, German, Spanish and Hindi). Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities include swimming, tennis, PE, art, pottery, computers, home economics and theatre.
